Artist Profile

Connie has spent his life in two worlds. The muses took hold of him in high school where he majored in music and was the school photographer. After high school, he spent three years in the army as an army photographer, while studying percussion with a Dutch instructor.

Following the service, Connie kept one part of himself in photography, studying at UCLA and The Art Center School of Design. His clients included Time-Life, Honda, Datsun and I Magnin. He also was the production manager and photographer for SCEN Magazine. During this period he found time to play in local Los Angeles Clubs, score several short films, and travel as the featured drummer on two USO tours to the Far East during the Vietnam Conflict.

In the early '70's Connie began to lose his hearing. He spent two years studying film at LACC and UCLA. He entered the motion picture industry in 1976, and worked as Director of Photography for 2 years before joining the I.A. to do lighting for the next twenty-five years.

In 2001, Connie's hearing became so poor that he decided to retire from the film industry and return to his love since high school: photography.

If it's true that for every season there is a time, then Connie's time to fully explore his unique vision of the world … is Now!
